What we’re about
Welcome to D57 Toastmasters network of non-profit clubs in your area!
"The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth."
You're welcome to visit a few club meetings based on the time and place that works for your schedule. Sample the public speaking waters and see how our diverse, friendly community is a great way to connect and make new friends!
Toastmasters International is a worldwide community with proven speaking and communication programs to take scared public speakers, self-professed introverts and unskilled managers and grow them into confident, competent, and even amazing leaders and presenters — all at your own pace, based on your own goals.
We're a non-profit, so we're cheap to join, and all we really want is for you to come grow in our safe environment, joining our supportive and amazing community!

. Whether it's improving our health, focusing on professional advancement, learning a new skill, it is often helpful to obtain someone to help learn new skills like speaking without preparation. We call speaking without preparation, impromptu speaking. If you want to learn new Impromptu speaking skills, Toastmasters can help. During the meeting, we will practice our impromptu speaking skills during our session we call Table Topics. At the meeting, members will practice giving prepared speeches. Other members will give the speakers feedback on the speeches, so the speakers can grow and learn new skills.
