See all- Multi-Language (& Book?) Exchange Fridays @ Reval Postimaja (10+ attendees)Reval Cafe Postimaja, Tallinn
👋 Host (text/call if you can't find the group)
- Alisa +372 560 49 272 (call) / +972 585 77 45 37 (WA text)
Love languages? 👅 Love books? 📚 Come to this hybrid meetup that combines both at Reval Postimaja, 2nd floor !
What you need to know:
👅 The languages part - polyglot style language exchange! How does it work? Look for someone who has common languages with you that are not your mother tongue or English - and strike a conversation! (We will have name/language tags to help you, no worries!) Talk about a book you or your language partner brought - or anything else!
📚 The books part - it's nice if you bring with you a book - a book you loved or a book you hated, a book just to show, or to lend, or to give away - up to you! Books are great topics for conversation and great atmosphere creators! (You don't have to talk all the time only about the books you or someone else brought, but it's a great starter!)
Important:
- Be comfortable to "eavesdrop" on a conversation in a fascinating language you are not ready to speak yet - "I just want to listen" is a thing! ☝😎
- If someone joins you with this intention - don't switch to English (as you normally would, because you don't want to exclude your friend from a conversation!) - but in this setting - keep talking! You are giving others an opportunity to listen! 😁👂
Well, this is it...we are looking forward to seeing you on Friday! Let's discover unexpected language matches together! 🤩
📸Disclaimer: The host may take photos during the event for promotion purposes. If you do not agree with this, please inform the host directly at the beginning of the meetup, otherwise it will be understood as consent.
✅Please RSVP so that we could take your participation into account. Let the hosts know if you happen to be late. Invite friends and family who share your love for books and languages!

✨ Even though not yet a part of our weekly meetups program, we are happy to support Toomas & Co, who have held many dance events in the past and came up with a really cool concept.
🎉 Welcome to Heartbeat Dance Tallinn – a new dance gathering happening every Sunday morning from September 15th to December 8th, and returning again in Jan 2025. A co-creation brought to you – by You!
🌟 Dance is sacred. It is one of the most ancient forms of expression, connection, and meditation. Through dance, we connect with our higher being, experiencing and expressing the bliss of existence. Together, we create a vibrant celebration of life, a space for exploring reality and our place in it. This is the essence of ecstatic dance.
🌀 Heartbeat Dance Tallinn is a weekly dance gathering – a sacred space to touch base and reconnect with our tribal roots. The event opens every Sunday morning at 10 AM in a select venue in Tallinn. Leading the dancefloor are some of the best ecstatic DJs in Estonia, guiding us deep into connectedness with an eclectic selection of music in various genres.
💠 The Heartbeat Structure
— We open the space and gather from 10:00 to 10:15
— A collective warm-up led by experienced facilitators to prepare ourselves for the dance.
— The Heartbeat dance, a collective journey through sound and movement
— An altar space for meditation and contemplation is accessible throughout the event.
— At 12:30 we hold a closing circle to meet in togetherness and share our authentic experiences
— Sharing of fruits and connecting with each other as we draw the event to a close.❤️ The very first Heartbeat Dance takes place in Tao Keskus in the Rotermanni quarter, on the 2nd floor of the venue! Check out the Facebook event.
🎧 Guiding us on the dancefloor is resident and co-host of Heartbeat Dance Tallinn, DJ LAIKA, Toomas Laigu
🙌 Facilitating the warm-up and holding space is co-host, legendary teacher Ronski Kosky
🎶 Special live concert for the first Heartbeat Dance event
