About us
Founded in 2016 as a 30s social group but as I’ve gotten older, so has the group and it is now for those in their 30s & 40s.
Events with this group are generally half food and drink related, checking out the new spots and Dallas mainstays for fancy cocktails or dirt-cheap happy hours. The other half of the events are as random as it gets! Outdoor movies, musicals, museums, pool parties, arcade nights, distillery tours, coffee classes, two step lessons, trolley rides, and whatever else looks fun, close and affordable.
Formerly, "Downtown 30s & 40" with a focus on exploring Downtown, Uptown, Deep Ellum, Design District and other central Dallas areas, I have updated the group name to reflect the larger area that we are now having events.
As I have been here a few years and am constantly looking for new things to do, that has led us to explore further corners of Dallas and yes, even the suburbs but I am not quite ready to call this a general DFW group.
As the group has evolved to being a 30s & 40s group vs just 30s, and as my interests have evolved with age as well, we have begun to focus more on activities such as museums, classes, entertainment, etc. over bar nights and happy hours.
FYI-Meetup.com charges organizers about $120 every 6 months to operate a group on their platforms. In January and in July I ask for donations from members to help meet that goal to keep the group running.
NOTE: Age may be just a number to you, and you feel young at heart at 54 or an old soul at 24, but please respect the age range of this group. If you are outside of the parameters, you will be removed. This is not to be mean, but to ensure a positive environment for age-appropriate members.

Glow or Go: A New-Style Escape Room ($20pp, 8 spots)

Last month we did SENSAS, now lets check out Glow or Go, an escape game in the same building as SENSAS.
