What we’re about
This group is for those interested in sensor and IoT technology. Topics include sensors, sensors systems, IoT, M2M, power, signaling, infrastructure, data, analytics, security, commercialization and related aspects. The meetings are sponsored in part by the Dallas IEEE, whose goal is to foster technological innovation and excellence.
Our goal is to support an educational environment and entrepreneurial ecosystem for those interested in learning about and implementing these technologies. The focus of the meetings will be to provide information and networking within the technology community. Join us for presentations, discussions, and hands-on learning. Our past meetups have covered presentations on sensor-based IoT technologies, embedded electronics prototyping, medical devices, smart cities, connected vehicles, low power wide area networks, code overviews and tutorials, intelligent analytics of the incoming big data, and other technologies from inventors, startups, universities, and established companies in a range of fields.
