Let's head out west to revisit one of our Restaurant Week favorites for Thanksgiving! Don Artemio is offering a Mexican take on the traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner and will have their regular menu available as well. I've heard that Don Artemio is being considered for a Michelin Star!

The Thanksgiving specials are posted in photos. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, there will be some family-style sharing of dishes at our meal. Since we will be a larger group, we will only be given one check, which will be divided evenly (they will take multiple forms of payment). The plan for the event will be for everyone to order a main course (in the general cost range of the specials) and we will order some (2-3) of appetizers, side dishes, and desserts to share.

During the time of our visit, it will also be Happy Hour at the bar (from 3-5pm). Please be prepared to order any beverages, other than water, from the bar since we will not otherwise be able to individualize the checks.

Parking- There are 2 options recommended: 1. Free parking in the Museum Place garage (enter on Barden St between W 7th & W 6th St). The garage is about a block away from Don Artemio. 2. Valet Parking- The valet is located at the corner of Arch Adams Ln & W 7th St, which is just west of the entrance for Don Artemio. Valet is $7 with restaurant validation.

Don Artemio does charge a $10 fee per person for last-minute cancellations. Please review and answer the question as you RSVP, keep your RSVP current, and confirm your RSVP in advance when requested. Thank you!

Back by popular demand Let’s meet up for a holiday High Tea at the Adolphus hotel in downtown Dallas! The hotel will be beautifully decorated for the holiday and provide some wonderful photo ops. From our last visit, The French Room offers an afternoon tea with 2-3 tea courses, scones, 2 food courses (savory then sweet), and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at the beginning for $80/person (tax, tip, & additional beverages extra).

The Adolphus does offer valet parking for $11 with validation; there are some public lots in the area as well.

Since the reservation is held by my credit card and there is an $80 cancellation/no show fee, I am asking that members agree to the question then they will be moved up from the waitlist as seats are available. Also, member attendance history will be taken into consideration.

Come celebrate the start of 2025 with a unique Afternoon tea experience! Bangkok at Beltline offers a Thai spin on the traditional tea experience- think chicken curry sandwiches instead of cucumber sandwiches- there's a photo with a description of the courses. They will also serve 3 different teas along with the food courses. Cost is $45/person (tax, tip extra). Members will be asked to confirm their RSVP 3 days in advance.

For this event, as with the other tea events, the reservation is being held with my credit card and I need to confirm the guest count with the restaurant 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations after that time will need to reimburse the cost to me. Bangkok at Beltline begins the preparations in advance and expect reimbursement for the number of guests that I have confirmed. Therefore, I am asking members to agree to the RSVP question before they are moved up from the waitlist. Member's attendance history will also be taken into consideration.

There is no valet for this venue, only the parking lot for the plaza.
