What we’re about
This is a group of fun outgoing individuals who want to enjoy the Dallas and DFW area nightlife, libations, live music or DJ creations reverberating off the walls. We strive for weekend fun, and the occasional weekday happy hour. We network, eat, drink, socialize, and sometimes dance, not always in that order!
The venues will be mostly low key casual with the occasionally sassy and always classy destination. We are always up for suggestions for venues in the Dallas and surrounding areas.
There are only a few rules for the group:
1. No Drama
2.No Stalking
3.No Violence in any form
4.No Driving Drunk or be removed from the group.
5.Keep your RSVP status current for events with limited seating.
6.Did we say no Drama? We are all adults, please act as such.
Lucky #7 Golden Rule: Drink responsibly and remember to respect other member's personal space AKA keep your hands to yourself. Violate this rule and you will be removed.
Our Meetup events are usually come and go as you please and the timeframe for each venue is listed in the event description. However, we do ask that you only RSVP "Yes" if you are able to attend an event during the timeframe posted and to keep your RSVP updated in the event you are not able to attend the event. If a ticket purchase is required, it will be noted in the event description. There are times that we have dinner and a show (or dancing) events where a table reservation has to be made ahead of time to secure a spot for the group and usually by doing this we are able to avoid cover charges. Also, there may be a limit on the number of members who can attend an event due to space constraints of the venue or by its management. For these events, seats will be limited and often will end up having a waitlist. If you are not able to attend the event, please change your RSVP status to "Not Going" so that another interested member may attend the event. A few days before the event, a confirmation of your "Yes" RSVP will be requested. If you do not confirm within 12 hours of the event, you are subject to being moved to a "Not Going" RSVP so that an interested waitlisted member may attend. Also, please note that 2 "No Shows" at limited seating events may result in removal from the group. Organizers/event hosts may edit the RSVP lists to an event at their discretion based upon members' attendance histories.
Most importantly if you want to meet a member then SHOW UP to a meetup and DO NOT send them messages like "Hey there how about a date?" or "Hi...Wanna meet?"... etc. Be a grown a$$ adult and make a true effort by showing up.
