The Design District is turning into one of Dallas' more interesting areas, but did you know you can get to all the top spots on a bike or scooter, without ever riding on Irving Boulevard? Join us for a casual roll through the district, exploring a network of trails and low-traffic streets. We'll look at recent and upcoming bike infrastructure projects in the area, see a few gaps in the network, and take at least one obscure shortcut.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow urbanists in the neighborhood and enjoy a chill evening on two (or better, 1–10) wheels. We’ll wrap up the ride with some delicious ice cream at Jeni's in Victory Park.

**What to Bring**

* A bike, scooter, etc. All wheels welcome.
* A helmet
* Lights (recommended, since we'll finish after dark)

**Getting there**
I'd recommend riding to The Meteor. It's an easy ride from DART Victory Station or the Katy Trail, thanks to the new Hi Line Connector. Here's my [recommended route](https://bkrtr.de/JK1Jq). Zoom in and you'll see bike parking, the blue P with a tiny bike symbol. I'll try to be there by 5:45. Look for the guy with the skateboard.
