Most enterprise data architectures struggle not because of tooling, but because they lack enforced structural control over how data enters, moves, and is consumed. This session introduces Data & AI Cognitive (DAC) Architecture, a federated model that establishes clear control points through a governed ingestion boundary, structured analytical zones, and a unified serving layer.

DAC enables domain autonomy while preventing fragmentation, duplication, and inconsistent governance. A key focus is how AI is absorbed into the same architecture as data, avoiding parallel ecosystems and ensuring traceability and control.

The session also highlights the distinction between governing structure and governing meaning, positioning DAC as the foundation upon which trust and semantic governance can operate effectively at scale.
