Mastering Semantic Engineering for Data Governance
Are your business definitions stuck in flat, disconnected word lists? It is time to upgrade to a connected knowledge graph. 🌐

We are excited to announce a new webinar series this month walking through the newly released Glossary & Semantic Workbench (also known as the Lexicon · SPO Workbench). Built around the Intralign / Semantic Engineering method, this series is designed to show you how to author, review, and govern business definitions with true structural rigor.

Throughout this month's sessions, we will be diving deep into the workbench's core capabilities:

  • Core Concepts: Building precise, machine-readable definitions using formal Subject–Predicate–Object (SPO) statements.
  • The Semantic Workbench: Reconciling your glossaries against curated reference models, running structural diagnostic checks, and generating interactive D3 knowledge graphs.
  • Reference Data Management: Governing standard code lists and mapping cross-walks, utilizing the 244 standard registry lists seeded right out of the box.
  • Connectivity & Architecture: Wiring these definitions directly into your enterprise architecture using alias-aware deep links and seamless Excel and RDF/Turtle (SKOS) interoperability.

Whether you are implementing these frameworks through Modelware Systems or advancing your practice within the DAMA South Africa community, this series will give you the practical tools to elevate your data governance.
