I am happy to announce that Argentine Tango is back in Danbury CT, after several years absence. This new Meetup Group is the successor to the group called "Danbury Argentine Tango Enthusiasts" (DATE): same leader, same interests and most importantly the same passion!! - except I have several more years of experience now!
Danbury Argentine Tango is a group where likeminded individuals who love Argentine Tango, or are curious and would like to learn, dance, perform or learn to perform Argentine Tango and meet other men and women who have the same passion for this art form.
Lessons will be offered for beginners through advanced dancers For those who are interested in performing and choreography, these pursuits can be individually tailored and arranged. Regular milongas (Tango get togethers/parties) will also be held where you can practice what you have learnt and get to dance with others who may not be from the class. "Field Trips" to nearby Milongas and NYC will also be arranged.
Jay Tanguero has been dancing, teaching and performing Argentine Tango for several years now and have taken lessons not only locally with reputed instructors, but also in Buenos Aries, the home of Argentine Tango, with world renowned Tango dancers and teachers.
Come and discover what Argentine Tango is, learn from an experienced instructor and choreographer. Get immersed in the dance, the music and the passion that no other dance form has.
