About us
• This group is for everyone interested in Country and Western music and dancing.
• Yep, dancing as in Two Step and Country Swing. The objective of the group is to meet and dance with local Austin dancers of all shapes, sizes, spots and stripes. Including but not limited to Two Step, Country Waltz, East and West Coast Swing, Polka, Country Swing, Hokey Pokey, Cha-Cha, and Jitterbug.
• Dancing! - All experience levels are encouraged to join, especially beginners. We host weekly dance lessons. If you're a beginner we encourage you to attend several lessons. We host weekly events with a dance lesson followed by a band. After the lesson we hang out and dance to the band with the folks from the class and others who show up after the lesson.
• Our outings will be at various venues in Austin such as The Broken Spoke, The Little Longhorn, Austin Beer Garden and Brewery (ABGB), The White Horse, Mercer Dance Hall, Mavericks, Wild West, etc.
• To join click on the Join Now Button, answer a couple questions and add A PROFILE PHOTO THAT CLEARLY SHOWS YOUR FACE - this is required to join the group. We can't meet you at an event if we don't know what you look like.

No cover, but bring some cash for tipping the band.

Or try 1 block west on Thornton Rd. jut past RR crossing - Go down 1 block past restricted parking zone.DO NOT PARK AT CVS - the bastards will boot your car.
