Q: What is Bachata Dancing?
A: Bachata is the easy way of social dancing, and is a great way to meet people and use the dance moves you've learned in class in a social setting. Super friendly atmosphere, cozy setting, to the latest trending Bachata music! It originated from the Dominican Republic, and has since evolved and changed over the years, now spread worldwide and danced by thousands of enthusiasts!
Q: I can’t dance, should I still join?
A: This workshop is suitable for complete beginners! Don't take our word for it... try us out!
Q: How much is it?
A: Only SGD9.90 for 1 trial session! Usual price is $20.
Q: Can I pay in cash at venue?
A: No, this event is strictly by rsvp and pre-paid via Paynow using our booking link provided above, before 3pm by Sunday, as we need to confirm early & balance up the ratio of men to women. We will reject walk-ins at the door.
Q: What do I wear to the classes?
A: We recommend anything from casual attire to gym or dance wear. As for shoes, a pair that is snug on your feet and will keep your heel and ankle in place is the best option. Keep in mind you might be turning or spinning, therefore your feet need to have stability and feel secure.
Q: Do I need to have a partner to attend the classes?
A: Not at all, we rotate partners every few minutes throughout the class, so everybody gets to dance with everybody. We do our best to ensure an even-enough gender ratio.
Q: What comes after this introductory workshop?
A: There are many different classes and courses you can continue to explore further, should you choose to!
