Wednesday Night Dance: the Future is Now Continued

Ecstatic Dance is free-form, unstructured dance/flow that allows for freedom to express our unique self through movement/dance within a supportive and respectful community.

Our fourth Wednesday dance mix is a continuum of the Saturday night "Future is Now" mix offered by Eileen Gormley. While the two mixes work together as a whole, you do not need to have danced the first wave as each mix stands alone as a complete wave.

This month we will also lay out the Gifting Blanket. If you have homemade or gently used items to pass along, please bring them. All who attend are welcome to take items from the blanket in the spirit of gift economy.

DOORS CLOSE: 7:45 pm

The dances are drug-free, alcohol-free, smoke-free and conversation-free. The music follows a journey with a calm/flow beginning, into a more vigorous and intense middle, entering into a more still and silent end.

You can express playfulness, craziness, passion, sadness, laughter or whatever needs to be expressed in the dance… or just come out to get your deep groove on!

The dance is open to everyone! Family friendly. No partner or dancing ability required - only breath and soul.

Please dress comfortably and bring some water to stay hydrated. And arrive substance free.
