What we’re about
Calling all ages of dancers and would be dancers who would like to explore the various folk dance clubs and parties in the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. No experience or partners necessary. Dance to music from all over the world. I started dancing in college many years ago, met my husband dancing, and now would like to share my love of international dancing with others. It is a great way to stay in shape, meet others (even while traveling), and have a lot of fun! We can share tips on local dance events, arrange to meet before or after events or create new ones!
If you are unfamiliar with International Folk Dancing, here is a video introduction "It Makes a Village: Folkdancing in America" that was posted on YouTube in 2009.
See you on the dance floor!
