At Cambridge Dao Society, we hold a monthly Dao gathering where we warmly welcome anyone who is interested in exploring the deeper questions of life:

Who am I?
What is the purpose of this precious yet limited human life?
How may we come to recognise our true nature and draw closer to the Truth that lies beyond appearances?

Our discussions are open to people from all backgrounds, faiths, philosophies, and spiritual traditions. We believe that all life shares the same original source and that, before distinctions arise, every being is fundamentally equal, pure, and connected.

The aspiration of Cambridge Dao Society is not to promote a particular creed, but to help illuminate a path for those seeking to return to their original nature. Through study, reflection, and shared dialogue, we seek to understand where life comes from, the root of all existence, and the universal principles that govern both Heaven and Earth.

In the teachings/messages of Dao, true wisdom arises when we learn to see beyond names, forms, and appearances. We strive to perceive life before it becomes divided into labels and judgements; neither clinging to distinctions nor diminishing any being, but recognising the same innate worth and spiritual essence within all.

To learn Dao is to know where to return to.
To know oneself is to know the source.

To see all beings without attachment or prejudice is to glimpse the unity that underlies all existence.

In returning to our original nature, we return to the root of life itself.
