Darlington Introduction to Astrology Workshops

Welcome to week one of the 12 Week 'Introduction to Astrology' workshops. This week will be packed full of learning as we begin our journey into interpreting planetary movement. The course will start with a brief look at astrology through history. Then we will look at the celestial movements which serve as a backdrop to our interpretations, including the yearly cycle of the Sun and the Precession of the Equinoxes. Finally, will be learning how to orient our way around the horoscope, including the primary and secondary motions of the planets and the main points in the chart, including the Ascendent, Midheaven and the Descendent.
