What does it mean to exist in an era shaped by artificial intelligence?
The Dasein AI Film Festival is a curated screening event dedicated to short films that explore consciousness, identity, memory, authorship, and the evolving relationship between humans and machines through the cinematic use of AI.
Inspired by the philosophical concept of Dasein the awareness of one’s presence and relationship to the world this festival presents films that question how emerging technologies reshape perception, storytelling, and meaning itself.
Rather than spectacle, Dasein highlights cinema as inquiry. These works reflect on how images are generated, how narratives are co-authored with algorithms, and how human intention transforms when intelligence is no longer exclusively human.
The evening is designed as a shared experience: collective viewing followed by conversation and connection among filmmakers, jury members, artists, and guests.
