The Dashing Whippets Running Team may be a newcomer to Boston, but we're no newcomer to the sport of running. With a wide variety of running goals, we find unity in recognizing and appreciating our differences and in our mutual enjoyment of running and participating in the Boston area running community and beyond. We host group runs open to runners of all experience and ability levels and provide training plans for a variety of local races. Whatever your running or fitness goals, we welcome you to come run with us. <br>

Esplanade 5K
Charles River Esplanade, Boston, MA, USHey Whippets, for the 9th consecutive year, the Whippets are proud to be OFFICIAL SPONSORS of the ESPLANADE 5K, one of the most scenic and fun races in Boston. This has become an exciting Whippet tradition (now being held in the fall!) so hopefully you can join. Run hard, easy, or just cheer along teammates as we enjoy the beautiful banks of the Esplanade. This year's race will be on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26 at 9am, starting and finishing on the Esplanade at NIGHTSHIFT'S OWL'S NEST. Dues-paying Whippets can use our TEAM DISCOUNT CODE (DWhippets24) to receive HALF PRICED bibs ($17.50). All proceeds benefit the Esplanade Association, which cares for the beautiful green spaces and paths we log so many miles along.
