Apache Ambari is an open source deployment & management tool for Hadoop clusters. Ambari provides a common infrastructure to install, config, manage and monitor various Hadoop ecosystem services. Ambari supports pluggable and extensible architecture to easily provision new services including: HDFS, YARN/MRV2, Hive, Hbase, Knox, Oozie and Zookeeper. Recently many companies, including Pivotal, have invested in making Ambari the installation tool for their Hadoop distribution.

In this talk we will go over the pluggability aspect of Apache Ambari to support new services, provide an overview of recently released Ambari-1.7 features and share a preview of what's coming in the next release. The talk will also include a demo of Ambari.
