About us

This group is for anyone who is just starting to navigate the world of data science and wants to learn alongside others. Whether you are teaching yourself Python, trying to wrap your head around statistics, or just curious about how to make sense of data, the goal here is to provide a low-pressure environment where we can support each other. We are not looking for experts to lecture us, but rather a community of peers who can share what they are currently studying, help each other debug code, and keep each other motivated.

Our meetups are designed to be informal and collaborative. We usually spend time talking about the resources we are finding useful, working through specific concepts that feel tricky, and sharing our progress on small projects. It is a place to ask the questions you might feel silly asking elsewhere and to build a network of people who are on a similar learning journey. If you are looking for a steady group to help you stay consistent with your studies, we would love to have you join us.
