Details
Join the team from Kontinentalist as we share about our process of creating The Hidden Green, a large-scale data storytelling project and artwork that examines Singapore’s relationship to trees. They will delve into how they conducted their data investigation—from examining a public dataset of Singapore’s trees, to conducting field research in Pulau Ubin—, share how they dealt with imperfection and gaps in the data, and reflect on what this all says about how we view nature.
The work is a commission by The Everyday Museum, a public art initiative of Singapore Art Museum (SAM). The Hidden Green is on display at SAM till 3 August 2025.
