The 4th Data Visualization MeetUp Hamburg is coming very soon! ✨

Come and join us for our Data Viz Meetup in Hamburg. This time it will be all about Creative Coding & Data Visualization – with a focus on P5.js.

This time we'll meet at New Work SE's New Work Harbour in HafenCity (Am Strandkai 1, take the big stairs in the atrium up to the 1st floor).

About a year ago, our speaker Sophie Ferrlein discovered the fascinating world of creative coding with P5.js. With years of professional experience in data analytics and a deep passion for data visualization, she quickly began experimenting with replacing the common randomness in creative coding with meaningful data (mostly from the Spotify API).

In her talk, Sophie will walk us through her practice of integrating data into creative coding. We'll gain insights into Sophie's process, see examples of her work (many of which she shares on her Instagram) and get inspired to blend data and creativity ourselves.

To wrap up, we'll host an interactive coding session in the P5.js web editor. Bring your laptop and follow along as we create data-driven visualizations together!

The event is in-person only, in English language and free of charge. The main program will finish around 8 pm, but feel free to stick around and chat. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please sign up for the event, so we can estimate how many people are joining.
