DataNight #3: Mirror of Erised - How to See What You Desire in Your Data ✔

Our third DataNights meetup will be held online and will focus on the process of Exploratory Data Analysis.

Data exploration is a crucial part in every data science project. This step should enable the data scientist to better understand the data and the task at hand and suggest a few possible solutions. In this lecture I will talk about various data exploration techniques and will walk you through a data exploration process on a sample data set.

Asya Frumkin is a senior algorithm developer, specializing in computer vision and currently working in the medical imaging area. She believes that the most valuable thing in life is having clean and balanced datasets.

🔴 20:00 - 20:15 – Questions

---------------------

How does a Data Science project work on real data? What are the difficulties of working with real world data and how to deal with them?

To answer all of those questions and more, we have opened a new ‘Big DataNights’ cohort especially for that!
In a series of meetings with professional data scientists from the industry, we will focus each time on a different topic from the real world work of Data Scientist, and learn how to deal with issues and difficulties that arise.
