KaggleIL #11 - Predicting Effective Arguments (NLP) π€¬

Details
Kaggle-IL Meetup #11 by DataHack, hosted by April
Our Kaggle meetup is back! You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?!π£
If you want to learn by wrangling data, haggling with stubborn models and waggling around in a much faster learning rate, join us for another opening of a series of meetups, where we will jointly work on a live and ongoing Kaggle competition, and get to lose to teams from across the world. π π
This time, we will tackle the Predicting Effective Arguments π€¬ competition, with the goal of classifying argumentative elements in student writing as "effective," "adequate," or "ineffective", so we guess talking the talk will help here. π
We will also hear about the current YAST (Yet-Another-Sexy-Transformer model), marvelling at the new variant of neural attention mechanisms that has been bestowed upon the human race. πΈπΏ
What to do now? RSVP here, and join the Kaggle-IL Facebook group for announcements, consultation, mentoring and answers to Kaggle related questions!
Agenda:
18:30 - Gathering pizza & beer π
19:00 - Competition intro & DeBERTa - Shay Palachy π€¬
20:00 - 22:00 Let's break the Leaderboard! π
The event will be hosted at the April offices :
Floor 6, Totseret ha-Arets St 7, Tel Aviv-Yafo
