DataKind and General Assembly are putting on an event on Thursday, Dec. 7th, focusing exclusively on the issue of homelessness in the Bay Area and how data is being used to improve the situation.
"An estimated 7,500 people are homeless in San Francisco on any given night. This number has remained stubbornly persistent for more than a decade, despite [the] City’s commitment, concern, and considerable investments."
We've assembled an incredible panel of experts from non-profits, funding sources, and government to discuss the issue. We'll devote the first portion to a panel discussion and then open the floor to anyone with questions.
