Practical Data Science 2024 #1

Details
Hey everyone!
After the awesome turnout at our first renewed Data Science Meetup, we're happy to let you know that we're keeping the meetup series going into the new year. Mark your calendars for January 18, 2024, because we're throwing another meetup with two speakers diving into the world of data science. This time, we've secured a more spacious meeting room at Navitas, ensuring a comfortable setting for our two-hour event. Following the presentations, we'll provide ample time for informal discussions, knowledge sharing, and mingling.
Each speaker will captivate you with a 15-20 minute presentation, and we'll open the floor to a Q&A session after each talk.
Here's a glimpse of our agenda:
- 15:45-16:15: Registration and casual networking
- 16:15-17:00: Engaging presentations
- 17:00-18:00: Enjoy free-flowing conversations over coffee and snacks
- 18:00: Event ends
Presentations and presenters:
Our first presenter is Christian, a data engineering consultant at Systematic. He will delve into the topic of Data Contracts: developing interfaces with data products. Following him, we have Martin, a data engineer consultant at XL-Byg Brejnholt, who will provide an insightful introduction to Airflow.
Our Data Science Meetup series strives to cultivate a knowledge hub, providing a platform for data science professionals across diverse domains to share ideas. Feel free to invite friends who share an interest in the field.
