Hey everyone!

Here we are again with the date of the second Data Science Meetup of 2024.
Mark your calendars for February 29 between 16-18:00!
The location is Navitas, the same meeting room on the first floor, as last time.

We're shaking things up this time with a hands-on workshop segment! Got a small project or problem you're itching to work on with fellow data enthusiasts? Shoot us an email to submit your ideas for group collaboration during the workshop.
Plus, we're introducing a talent guidance desk for those seeking career advice or mentorship opportunities.

And fear not, there'll be plenty of time for informal discussions, knowledge exchange, and making new connections.

Presentations and presenters:

1. Patrycja Rogozinska - Does genAI promote laziness?

Patrycja is currently working at the Center for Hybrid Intelligence at the Department of Management at Aarhus University as a research assistant. Her research focuses on applications of hybrid intelligence in organizational context as well as quantification of the impact of genAI on innovation in organizations.

2. José Díaz - Training and deploying novel AI models for biodiversity protection in the Patagonia

José is the president at Boquila Foundation and a programmer with a focus on neural networks. He has 7 years of technical experience, covering IoT and software engineering to ML and data science. His focus is developing real-world applications of new technologies to protect nature around the world.
