About the speakers

Nuno da Rocha Borges is a Senior Manager at NOS, SGPS, where he is a core team member of SCAILE, NOS’s Artificial Intelligence program launched in 2025 as part of the organization’s digital transformation strategy. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing multiple machine learning and generative artificial intelligence products within the company, with a particular focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and maximizing operational efficiency.
He holds a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Economics and a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Finance from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto, where he conducted academic research on investment decisions in R&D. He also has international experience, having studied at Universidad Carlos III (Spain) and, more recently, completed an MBA program at INSEAD, where he was awarded the Henry Ford II Prize. In the academic field, he is also a guest assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto and NOVA SBE.

Maria Clara Jorge has been a Senior Product Owner & Project Manager at NOS since 2023, with the key role of driving the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Over the past five years, she has developed digital, agile, and strategic expertise, working closely with digital products such as apps and e-commerce platforms. In the last two years, her main focus has been on implementing Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies, from Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to production. She holds degrees in Communication Sciences and Management, as well as a master's in Economics and Innovation Management, all from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto.
