Keeping Communities Alive: A Roundtable for Community Organizers
Details
Data Science Portugal (DSPT) is celebrating its 10th anniversary! 🎉
DSPT is officially hitting double digits (watch out, teenage years are right around the corner!) and we are celebrating hard! 🎂
On October 10th (10/10) in Porto, we are starting our morning with a special roundtable of AI + tech communities.
Starting a community is the easy part. Keeping it alive is harder. We're bringing together community organizers for an open roundtable about what happens behind the scenes: finding sponsors, keeping volunteers motivated, avoiding burnout, understanding what members actually want, and growing beyond your home city. This isn't a series of talks. It's a conversation. Come ready to share what has worked for you, what hasn't, and what you're still trying to figure out. Whether you've organized dozens of events or are thinking about starting your first community, there's a seat at the table for you.
