It’s a long and winding path from the initial idea for a data story to the final result. Many of the most celebrated visual and interactive experiences have gone through countless iterations before they are shared with the wider public. This process can feel laborious, tiring, even frustrating at times. But it doesn’t have to be! Join us to hear from Anna Wiederkehr, Senior Visual Journalist at FiveThirtyEight, about the role of sketching, sharing, and starting over in the data visualization design process.

Anna Wiederkehr is a designer with a background in journalism, interface, and visualization design. She is a Senior Visual Journalist at FiveThirtyEight and has previously held the position of Head of Graphics at Neue Zürcher Zeitung. https://annawiederkehr.com
