Mapping Climate and Conflict by Moritz Stefaner (online only)

Details

Climate change and conflict risks increasingly overlap in complex ways across the globe. How can science communication and data visualization enable analysts and policymaker to make better decisions based on heterogenous, multi-faceted information sources? The Climate—Conflict—Vulnerability Index (CCVI) maps current global risks by integrating climate and conflict hazards with local vulnerabilities, providing a bird's eye perspective on the climate-conflict nexus.
