### IF YOU WANNA PITCH: How It Works

1️⃣ Sign Up to Pitch: If you’re pitching your single friend, reserve your spot by completing our online form located HERE - Pitch spots are limited, so sign up early—even if your presentation isn’t finalized. You’ll receive confirmation details via email.
2️⃣ Create Your Presentation: Prepare a fun and uplifting 3-5 minute slideshow that highlights why your friend is an amazing catch. Share their standout qualities, interests, and even what they’re looking for in a relationship. This isn’t a roast—keep it positive!
3️⃣ Present & Mingle: On event night, presenters will share their slides and pitch their friend to the crowd. After the presentations, enjoy a non-structured mixer where everyone can meet and mingle, grab a drink and make new connections!

### Presentation Requirements

Attendance: Both the presenter and the single friend being pitched must attend the event. Your friend must also be aware of and consent to being pitched.
Content Rules: Be creative, but keep it PG-13.
Simple Slides: Avoid animations or transitions; slides should be straightforward.
Text Size Matters: Ensure text is readable from the back of the room. Use the following minimum font sizes: PowerPoint: 50, Keynote: 105, Canva: 75, Google Slides: 38
The Last Slide: Your final slide should feature your friend’s photo and contact information (e.g., Instagram handle, how they would like you to approach if interested)
Time Limit: Stick to 3-5 minutes per presentation.
Submit Early: Email in your slideshow before the event following instructions in your confirmation email. We will need them emailed to DateColumbusEvents@gmail.com by January 6th. Once you purchase a presentor ticket, we will reach out to ensure you have what you need for a successful presentation!

### Parking:

There is a pay lot directly across the street from the venue as well as ample street parking on high and adjacent streets. Short North has several parking gargages within a few blocks. As always, we recommend uber or lyft!

### Cancellation Policy

We have a no refund policy for all events. BUT, if you need to cancel presenting we will open up that spot for someone else - let us know as soon as possible if you are no longer able.
