We’ll start the day in quaint Mount Dora visiting the Lakeside Inn of the 1880’s with its famous rocking chairs overlooking Lake Dora. The 41st Mount Dora Craft Fair is Held on the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora, FL.
Consistently ranked in the TOP 5 BEST by Sunshine Artist Magazine in their annual ranking of the Best Classic/Contemporary Craft Festivals in America, the Mount Dora Craft Fair was awarded title of ALL TIME FAVORITE #1 in their special 50th Edition published in 2021. The downtown streets come alive with almost 400 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine and fun crafts at the annual event. Festival food, music, beer and wine tasting for adults will round out the event.
Mount Dora is more known for its resemblance to a New England town than the South. The town features shops, lighthouse, yacht club, restaurants, nostalgia, antiques, Amish ice cream, miniature doll houses, and a Sears Mail Order house which is now a shop. The Donnelly House is a striking piece of Victorian Gothic architecture located directly across the street from Donnelly Park. The Lakeridge Winery sits atop the Vineyards in an almost hilly area of Clermont in Central Florida. The tour of the facilities includes the giant vats, the back view of the spacious grounds and a sample taste session that leaves you happy that you’re not driving and the driver’s not drinking. The Winery shop is loaded with nice gift ideas also. Lunch is on your own with several very good choices including Pisces Rising and the Goblin. Rate $65. Leave Group’s Location At 8am, Return 5:30pm
