MetroParks Public Input Wanted: Protect + Connect Plan Public Workshop

Details
Share your ideas for Five Rivers MetroParks’ Comprehensive Master Plan during a public workshop at the Vandalia Recreation Center.
Five Rivers MetroParks is updating its Comprehensive Master Plan, which will be called the Protect + Connect Plan. This is a long-range planning effort to guide how MetroParks takes care of the nearly 16,000 acres it protects.
This plan is a chance to celebrate everything MetroParks has done so far, while also planning for what’s next. With support from the community, MetroParks hopes to grow and improve so it can continue to protect nature, connect people to the outdoors and offer great experiences for everyone.
Community voices are central to shaping the Protect + Connect Plan. Throughout the planning process, there will be multiple ways to get involved and help guide the future of MetroParks together, the first of which being during this public workshop.
Can't make this date? Head to Passport to MetroParks on May 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. at RiverScape MetroPark during the Protect + Connect Plan Public Workshop Pop Up.
