Join me for a walk at Pearl’s Fen, the quarry rim and back to the fen. Oakes Quarry and Pearl’s Fen are two adjacent parks with diverse geological formations and unique biodiversity. It’s a walk through geologic time--400 million years ago to the present.
Meet at the parking lot of Pearl’s Fen, 4535 Byron Road, Fairborn, OH 45324.

· This is a moderately paced hike, 2.5 mph.
· The path is dirt, gravel, and rock with some inclines. Expect a little mud.
· Wear hiking boots. Bring water. Poles are optional.
