Round 1 - 3.5 miles - Brisk Pace
No pets. One guest.

Let's hike at Hills and Dales on a warm and beautful March day. We will hike 1.75 miles, at a brisk pace (~3+ mph), from White Oak to the end of the park, turn around, and hike back on a slightly different route totaling 3.5 miles. The hike should last about 75 minutes.

Come for Round 1 or Round 2 or both for a total of 7 miles!

Meet at the parking lot on Hilton Avenue. There are hills on this hike, which is why they call the park Hills and Dales.

Recommended: Trekking poles and water.

About Hills & Dales Park: The 63-acre Hills & Dales MetroPark is filled with picturesque creeks, rolling hills, dense woods (including an outstanding example of Ohio natural forest), wild flowers, and wetlands, all conveniently located just south of downtown Dayton.
