Join us for a 6-mile out-and-back hike through suburban Kettering and Centerville along the Iron Horse Trail and nearby city streets. Our turnaround point will be Iron Horse Park, offering a convenient place to take a short break before heading back.
At the park, there will be an optional opportunity to sign a the data center petition related to a proposed ballot initiative. All hikers are welcome regardless of their views or voter status.
ABOUT THE PETITION
* The proposal would place a measure on the ballot regarding whether to restrict the construction of large-scale data centers with a power demand exceeding 25 megawatts.
* Signing the petition supports putting the question before Ohio voters for consideration.
* Only registered voters may sign the petition.
* You can be registered to vote in any Ohio county.
