Urban Hike: "The Neighborhoods"
Details
Let's get together and explore the unique neighborhoods and areas that Dayton and vicinity have to offer.
THIS IS THE FOLLOW UP EVENT TO THE ONE I CANCELLED!
I cancelled the event originally to go to The Great Council State Park on June 6.
Hopefully you all saw my comment on that event page. But if you didn't, I cancelled going to that park as they are having an event that day and are expecting 1000 people along with the Governor of Ohio.
We can't even park there and would have had to park at the high school and ride a shuttle.
I'll reschedule going there another date.
But we are still going to the Indigenous Festival in Springboro at 3pm.

There will be vendors with Native American goods, food, hand made flutes and more.
Some well known musicians in the Native American world will be there playing their music and singing.
At 7:30 there will be a drum circle. Have you been to one? They are very fun and relaxing.
Bring a drum if you have one or bring anything that will make noise. Tambourine, bells, maracahs, a box of macaroni, wooden spoons, drum sticks etc. Sometimes they may have extra drums.
It's a beautiful park and there's a trail we will walk.
Bring your chair, even though they do have chairs but just in case.
There will be food to buy but you can also bring your own food.
When you come into the park, turn left and go all the way to the back of the park. Look for shelter #3.. Park there.
This park is HUGE! There's a pond so bring your poles.
There are a couple nice playgrounds so
bring your kids or grandkids etc.
I drive a green Chevrolet Equinox with black wheels.
