For this Urban Hike lets go back to the beautiful Grotto Gardens at The Dayton VA Medical Center.

We have an amazing tour guide, Maura,
and she knows this place inside and out.

When you see it and hear about it you are going to be so surprised ! IT'S GORGEOUS with unbelievable history!

But first let's meet at the new-ish Gettysburg Grocery store. Meet me in the parking lot.

Let's go inside to this beautiful grocery store and get some food to take to the Grotto Gardens to eat before we take the tour.

They have a small deli with some pre made sandwiches, salads, hot food and many other things . You can also bring your own food too.

After the grocery we'll drive about 1 mile to the Grotto Gardens.

There's a very nice shelter next to an awesome pond with fountains. We'll eat there then take the tour.

The Grotto Gardens is not big. It's flat
and we won't even be walking a mile .

Arrive Grotto: 5:30
Tour 6:30-8:00.
