Join us for a beautiful 4-mile, ~3 mph, hike at Sweet Arrow Reserve in Bellbrook as summer begins giving way to fall. This is a wonderful time of year to explore the reserve, when the trails are still lush and a variety of late-summer and early-fall wildflowers are putting on their seasonal show.

No pets. One guest permitted.

Along the way, we'll keep an eye out for colorful blooms such as goldenrod, asters, ironweed, wingstem, and other native plants that thrive in the meadows, woodland edges, and along the trails.

Recommended Equipment: Trekking poles, and footwear for muddy trails.

A Friendly Guide to Sharing the Trails: As we hike, we'll be sharing the path with others. To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, let's be mindful of how we communicate. Instead of loud call-outs, let's use quiet voices and enjoy the sounds of nature. 🐦 When encountering others, we can simply move to the right to let them pass. ➑️ If someone is coming up behind our group, a quiet message passed up the line works perfectly. There's no need to yell, stop or leave the trail entirely; just making a little space is all that's needed for everyone to share the path gracefully. ⚜️
