Urban Hike: "The Neighborhoods" Woodland Cemetery

Let's get together and explore the unique neighborhoods and areas that Dayton and vicinity have to see!

For this Urban let's go back to the iconic and amazing Woodland Cemetery.
Looks like the fall colors will be in full bloom!

There are so many famous people laid to rest here and the grounds are just beautiful!

Woodland is hilly but we don't go fast.

Meet in front of the office.
After introductions we will go inside the Mausoleum for about 20 minutes.
There are beautiful stained glass windows titled "Windows of the World."

Then we go on an approximate 2 mile walk and stop at several interesting graves.

There is parking outside the gate or you can come inside the gate and park on the street in front of office.
Gates close at 7.

Dress for the weather and wear shoes that are good on pavement.
Hats and water are recommended.
