Vets To Drones (V2D) is a non-profit organization empowering Veterans to gain knowledge in the expanding field of UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems, aka Drones).
Our community supports Veterans in the commercial arena, providing valuable training to obtain their Drone license (FAA Part 107). Lastly, we provide resources connecting Veterans with exciting opportunities in commercial and recreational environments. It is paramount to our core as an organization to unite and uplift our Veteran population, providing a path to outdoor activities and engaging in powerful camaraderie.
Drones are utilized in numerous industries; Aerial photography, Agriculture, Entertainment, e.g., Sky Light shows (Aerial Fireworks alternative), Media and Movie Industry, Natural Disaster response, Humanitarian aid and Search Rescue with thermal imaging, Geo Surveying and mapping, e.g., Architecture, Construction, Infrastructures, Tower Inspections to name a few.
The Vets To Drones Fly-Day will demonstrate some of the newest Drone technology and applications. Our demonstration will include...

Before the V2D event, we encourage all participants to take the free Recreational UAS “TRUST” test. It does not require previous knowledge. It does provide a basic introduction and the requirements for Recreational flying. While this is highly recommended it is not a requirement to participate in our V2D Fly-Day.
