This group is operated by American Humanist Association and is a chapter of the Washington Area Secular Humanists.

Welcome Atheists, Humanists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, Secular Humanists, Rationalists, and friends in the Washington DC Metro Area! We host ongoing discussions on online and a variety of social, educational, community service, and activist events.

We strive to provide a supportive social environment for folks breaking away from religious traditions or looking to connect with others on shared values concerning Constitutional separation of Church and State and protecting human rights.

We encourage you to become a member of the American Humanist Association at americanhumanist.org/join and explore resources and events on humanism. Also find more local community by joining Washington Area Secular Humanists and it's other chapters at https://wash.org/join.
