Outside of Salsa, these Latin dances are 3 of the most popular in the Latino dance community today. Though there are occasions in the clubs when they are taught on an infrequent level, we feel that there is a real desire for more ongoing and intense training in each one of them, and why we are starting this new Dance Class and Training Meetup to coincide with our weekly Sunday Salsa, Rueda, Latin & Tango Social. Whenever each of these dance styles are played in the social events, NO ONE SITS! Which means that everyone loves the music and dance styles, though many struggle with effectively dancing them. The classes will take place every Sunday at 2pm in Cha Cha and 4pm in Bachata and Merengue at the same time as Beginner & intermediate Salsa taught by Mein and Terry Chasteen at the Chevy Chase Ballroom. Both classes are then Followed by beg & int Salsa Rueda at 5, Argentine Tango at 6 & dancing in the Latin dances and Argentine Tango in 2 studios at once from 7pm -11pm every Sunday.
