DC Gaming Group (DCGG) is a club organization created to foster connections within the DMV gaming community. Together, we can explore new games, support independent game developers, and check out local events.

DCGG welcomes gamers of all walks of life to come together and play—console players, PC gamers, tabletop enthusiasts, mobile players—we don’t judge!
Our goal is to bring folks with different gaming preferences together in the same community. Whether you like single player adventures, fighters, shooters, or sports games, we provide a community where you can share your passion with other gamers.

Heart Stealers: Arcade for a Cause & Singles Mixer

Heart Stealers is a community engagement-focused, “King of the Hill” challenge that will introduce guests to new people and new games, and encourage folks to play with purpose.

The singles mixer is 1000% Optional and will use the spotlight system.

At each event, guests will pick a nonprofit / team that they would like to champion. This month the non-profits to champion are: Kid Power Inc , DC Abortion Fund , and the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network. How well you and your team do at stealing necklaces from the other teams will determine what portion of the prize pool your nonprofit will receive. Every nonprofit goes home with something!To participate, guests will be requested to contribute a $10 donation at the door. This will go to the donation pool for the event and includes starter tokens.
Folks may also purchase additional tokens from DCGG or tokens can be purchased with cash. Tokens are 25¢ each and games are typically 2-4 tokens.
Upon arrival, each player will get three heart necklaces to represent their lives. Lives can be won or lost by challenging other players to one of GameOn's amazing arcade games.

DCGG Game Club --- Unpacking!!

Do you consider Moby Dick just one long water level? Then the DC Gaming Group Game Club is for you. If you know what a book club is, you know what this is. Each month we will select a game that matches our criteria, beat it, and then come together to discuss our thoughts on the game. Even if you have already played the game, you are welcome at discussion <3
How to Participate:

This month, Game Club will discuss Unpacking!!2. Play at your own pace and join us in Discord for monthly discussions and feels.

4. Plan the next game!

Pokemon 30th Anniversary Celebration!
Penn Social, 801 E Street Northwest, Washington, DC, US*Please only sign up if you are committing to attend as space is limited. If you are interested in participating and RSVP is full, you may join the wait-list and we will open spots as the date gets closer.
Join the DC Pokemon League and DCGG to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon! The night will have activities that celebrate all aspects of the Pokemon franchise including Pokemon trivia, Pokemon Stadium Minigames, a Pokemon XD tournament, craft and trading stations, and more!
Win prizes, make friends, and celebrate the world of Pokemon!
TRAINERS! We'll have tables set up for trainers to trade Pokemon cards and trinkets! Bring things to trade, cards, pins, plushies, and Pokemon from games from the DS and Switch (TCG Pocket and PokemonGo too!). Trades only. Trainers found selling items for cash or equivalents will be asked to leave.
