DC Gaming Group (DCGG) is a club organization created to foster connections within the DMV gaming community. Together, we can explore new games, support independent game developers, and check out local events.

DCGG welcomes gamers of all walks of life to come together and play—console players, PC gamers, tabletop enthusiasts, mobile players—we don’t judge!
Our goal is to bring folks with different gaming preferences together in the same community. Whether you like single player adventures, fighters, shooters, or sports games, we provide a community where you can share your passion with other gamers.

Heart Stealers: An Arcade for a Cause
If you have registered for Early Access via Patreon you do not need to sign up via Meetup
Heart Stealers is a community engagement-focused, “King of the Hill” challenge that will introduce guests to new people and new games, and encourage folks to play with purpose.
At each event, guests will pick a nonprofit / team that they would like to champion. This month the non-profits to champion are: Kid Power Inc, City Dogs and City Kitties DC, and the DC Abortion Fund. How well you and your team do at stealing necklaces from the other teams will determine what portion of the prize pool your nonprofit will receive. Every nonprofit goes home with something!
To participate, guests will be requested to contribute a $10 donation at the door. This will go to the donation pool for the event.
Folks may also purchase tokens from DCGG or tokens can be purchased with cash. Tokens are 25¢ each and games are typically 2-4 tokens.
Upon arrival, each player will get three heart necklaces to represent their lives. Lives can be won or lost by challenging other players to one of GameOn's amazing arcade games.

DCGG Game Club --- Nine Sols!!!
·OnlineOnlineAre you ready to put down that book and pick up that controller? When you think of “the Classics” does Mario or Shakespeare come to mind? Do you consider Moby Dick just one long water level? Then the DC Gaming Group Game Club is for you. If you know what a book club is, you know what this is. Each month we will select a game that matches our criteria, beat it, and then come together to discuss our thoughts on the game. Even if you have already played the game or if you haven't yet beaten it, you are welcome at discussion <3
How to Participate:
1.Get the Game
This month, Game Club will discuss Nine Sols!!!2. Play at your own pace and join us in Discord throughout the month for discussion, updates, and vibes as we lead up to the full discussion.
3. Plan the next game!
Please complete the poll in the Discord server. This is normally sent in the #GameClub channel about 5-7 days before the discussion date for the current month's game. Please keep a lookout as the results of this poll will determine what our next game for DCGG Game Club will be!4. Join us for the full discussion by RSVPing to this meetup and joining Discord. We'll be meeting for discussion on April 26th at 7 PM. The discussion will take place in the Gameclub voice chat room. (https://discord.gg/vuefymS). Look for the #GameClub channel.

Not yet a member of DCGG? We are a community of mature adults who foster discovery, diversity, and inclusion. Join us for the games, and stick around for discussions, news, and our low-key hangouts!
