Calling all Black authors of Historical Fiction / Historical Fantasy and Speculative Fiction in the DC Metro area! This meetup is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for African-American and Caribbean writers who are passionate about crafting compelling stories. If you would like the opportunity to get helpful feedback, in a respectful and structured environment, please join us for semi-monthly critique sessions and engaging discussions on your work. Even if you're not at a point where you feel comfortable sharing your work yet, and are just looking to simply connect with like-minded individuals to discuss writing tips / tools / industry trends, this is the place for you.
