DC Metro Crafts

Been a bit but we're hitting Chinatown for a meetup in mid-October. Bring your cross stitch, crochet, knitting, or other portable craft.

We'll be in room 401-G.

Join DC Metro Crafts for a field trip. We'll be at Quill and Crumbs, the cafe at the Shakespeare Folger Library.

The Shakespeare Folger Library is about 3 blocks from the Capitol South metro. Head up First as you get out of the station, pass the Library of Congress and the Capitol, turn right on East Capitol, and the Folger is on the right. The entrance is around the side, not through the front of the building. Head upstairs to the cafe and we'll be at the tables at the back.

Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft. We'll be in the back at the group tables.

Join DC Metro Crafts at Takoma Park Library at 5:30pm. Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft.

To get to the library from the Takoma metro station: Once you get off the metro, turn right on Cedar St, cross the big intersection with 4th St, and the library is on your left once you pass 5th.

To get to the meeting room: After you enter the library and pass the information desk, the stairs are on the right. Go downstairs, walk straight past the restrooms, hook a left, walk a bit, and the room is on your left. Alternately, you can ask at the information desk and they'll direct you down; just tell them you're looking for DC Metro Crafts.

Takoma Park Library a bit of a hike for you? Join us at the Tenley-Friendship Library at the other end of the red line at at 6:00pm. Yes, we've expanded to multiple events in a night -- when libraries permit, that is. (I'm looking at you, Cleveland Park.)

We're in Conference Room 1.
