Walk through Arlington ft. Lyon Park, Penrose (Ballston -> Crystal City)

Let's walk through some neighborhoods in Arlington between Ballston and Crystal City!

• Start at the Ballston Metro Station
• Walk in south east direction along a combination of sidewalks and trails. We'll go by/through the reclining statue of liberty (is it still there?), Lyon Park, Filmore Park, and Towers Park.
• NOTE: may stop by European Foods Import Export Inc. to grab some snacks
• Pass by the Air Force memorial along an unfriendly looking stretch along Columbia Pike and S Joyce St.
• 18th street to Crystal City

We try to be punctual with our event times so please be respectful to others and show up a few minutes early. Note, we often limit the RSVPs to keep group sizes manageable. If you are on the waitlist but would really like to join, reach out to the organizer.

Our events prioritize metro accessibility by meeting and ending at metro stations. Sometimes we start/stop at the same station, sometimes we do not. Please double check the event description to see if you can manage transportation.
