Annacostia River Walk (Union Station, 10.2 mi)

For this weekend walk, we will be doing a loop starting and ending at Union Station. There will be some cool views of DC and should be a good mix of Capital Hill, various DC parks, the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, and H St.

Route:

• Starting at Union Station (near the freedom bell).
• Walk south on 2nd St. walking behind the Supreme Court and Library of Congress, towards the Capital Waterfront
• Walk along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, crossing the Frederick Douglas Bridge, and Benning Road Bridge, and continue on the trail till C Street.
• West on Constitution towards Lincoln Park
• North on 12th St. NE towards H st.
• West on H St. towards 3rd St. NE
• South on 3rd St. till Massachusetts Ave.
• Ending at Union Station Metro Station.
• (optional and tbd) Enjoy drinks + food somewhere on H Street

Approximate Time: 9am - 1:30pm
